Mark at a glance

Loves about the job:
The competitive aspect: persuading an examiner to grant a patent, or beating an opponent. The creative aspect: helping a client design around a possible infringement.

Would rather be:
Spending a relaxing day watching a test match at Lords with a pint of Pimms.

Fantasy dinner party guests would be:
Douglas Adams, Ranulph Fiennes and Jodie Kidd.

People would be surprised to know:
I’ve been bitten by a lion.

In another life, would have been:
A rally car driver (despite having no obvious talent for it).
